Author’s Note: This post is a little off topic. Feel free to skip it.

I just finished watching the Steve Job’s Keynote at the annual MacWorld Convention. As always, it was very good. New products Steve introduced include the MacBook air, the thinnest notebook computer ever; new iPhone software (already installed—it’s amazing); iTunes video rentals; and a new Apple TV.

I have to say that they are going for great innovation but there is a slight problem. With a company like Apple, innovation is expected. With the exception of the MacBook Air, they really had no big surprises in store for us. Big surprises are why it gets so much hype. It was still cool to watch and I am especially excited about the new iPhone features

Now if they could only fit an optical drive into that Air.

By the way, check out the Zen Problog Article on Apple Marketing. It sparked some interesting comments.

Update: Just added a snazzy new feature to the blog. Now you can bookmark the site on your iPhone home screen with a custom logo. (see it here)
