This night is a great time to meet new people. Those in business are all excited about the year to come and are ready to take on new ventures and opportunities.
Tonight, instead of watching Dick Clark’s New Year’s Special, go out and make some new friends. It is remarkable how far it can get you. Bring business cards along, keep your wine consumption in check, and make some new acquaintances who you can call in the new year to talk business.
Note: If you are with your significant other tonight, don’t neglect them for shop talk with associates. That will come back to bite you in the butt.
